The entrance to Bell Hall is down a long private drive, this gives complete privacy and discretion. Oak, ash, chestnut and Scots pine are among the prominent trees in the grounds.

There are gates in a mixed beech and hornbeam hedge which lead through to the south facing rear garden surrounded on three sides by a 12’ mellow brick wall. Here there are established herbaceous borders, sweeps of lawn and a central grassed paddock area, mature shrubs and a wisteria on the southern elevation of the house.

The property, formerly part of a much larger estate, was constructed in 1680 and attributed to the well known architect John Etty of a mellow brick with fine Ashlar dressing and quoins under a slate hipped roof
