Leave Rosedale Abbey with the Milburn Arms on the right. In about a mile bear left signposted Rosedale East Only. The entrance to the farm is down a short lane on the left hand side. Hill Farm is 1 mile from this junction. Go past a row of cottages on your right, and between 2 rows of cottages as you reach the top of the hill, after which, on the left, is the Chapel and the cream-painted building of The Tree Relaxation Centre. IF YOU ARE FOLLOWING A ‘SAT NAV’, THIS IS THE POINT AT WHICH YOU STOP DOING SO. Turn left down the lane immediately at the end of The Tree Relaxation Retreat – it’s signed as a public footpath. The lane leads after 70 yards to 2 farm gateways; turn left into the gateway marked “Hill Farm Cottages”.
